“If my laptop cannot pick up oh my 5G WiFi and only allows me to connect to my 2.4G WiFi, would this adapter allow me to connect my laptop to my 5G network? If not what item do I need?”

• That is exactly why I bought the 1200, both for my Dell desktop and for my Dell laptop. Both of them get my 5G network without problems.

• This woud let you connect to 5g network. Have you checked your laptop to make sure 5g is enabled on the current wireless card?
