We live in a area where the lots are 2.5 acre minimum and I can pick up several homes that are half a mile away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had good luck at 300 yards through 5 walls.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my bedroom (by my router) windows wi-fi says 867 Mbps. In my kids room (25 feet away) it wi-fi reads 702-867 Mbps. In my livingroom (35-40 feet away) wi-fi reads 558 Mbps. My house is not big enough to drop wi-fi reading lower than 558 Mbps. I still get that number on my deck (60 feet away). The signal has NEVER dropped out (unless I was walking through my house with my laptop (then quickly reconnects). I have the Asus RT-AC87U router; your milage may vary according to your house layout and type of router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't know what the range is, but I have it hooked up to my desktop upstairs and the router is in the basement, 2 floors below. It works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My computer is roughly 50 feet from my router and I have 4 out of 5 bars and still average 40 - 50 mbps download speeds
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Router is in the kitchen and computer is in the spear bedroom so 80 to 100 ft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure of the exact range. Netgear says it is for "Large Homes." I know I have no problem at about 100 ft. I can also see, but have not tried to hookup my neighbor across the street. Remember, you have to factor in the number of walls that the signal has to go through when determining distance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maximum distance is hard to determine without knowing your surroundings as well as other cross interference. If you live inside a concrete/steel reinforced house you might only be able to sneak away with maybe 30-60' which is about the distance to a mailbox. Though you might be lucky and get an insane distance which would be your whole neighborhood. Also some security protocols like AES and TKIP will lower your max range Also it would be best to find a low usage channel most are set to auto which will navigate to a higher or lower channel, some will not. Settings in your router might help you increase gain and distance but at a cost of bandwidth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mike. Works at least the 60+ yards that make up my house and pool area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My PC is about 30' from my router and it works perfect.
