Hmmm ... I had to think about that one. The adapter usually picks up what your wireless router has stored, and is transmitting. Used in that way it will pick up many of your neighbors signal, however their signal maybe protected. Used as a repeater or extender I can't say; only that this adapter has the longest range that I have ever witnessed or seen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it should as I am using it for my own wireless which I receive downstairs with the router upstairs,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should pick that up still, and maybe a few others farther away. It has a really good range
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It gets better signal over extended distances...added another 50 yards for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will. It's got great range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this picks up WiFi and should be an improvement over your current card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, A network interface controller (NIC, also known as a network interface card, network adapter, LAN adapter or physical network interface, and by similar terms) is a computer hardware component that connects a computer to a computer network. however in some states it is illegal to use someones WI-Fi with out their permission.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, with the high gain antenna you will absolutely see your neighbor's networks (and then some). I knew I had a lot networks around me but with the A6210 I saw many more! I won't comment on the ethics of "piggy backing" on your neighbor's networks, perhaps you are good friends with them and they don't mind.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could get your neighbor's permission and see if they would setup a guest account on their router or let you use their password. If you have permission, connecting should be no problem. You need their permission, though, otherwise it is "theft of services," and you could get a hefty fine or worse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
