• I don't see why not I had the same problem as you I was not getting signal on my smart TV so I bought this router which received the wifi signal. After that I just plug in the ethernet cable to this router to my TV it should work it work for me only thing it might be week since you said you live in a two-story house mines only one story so it might be a weak.
