• For best results it should have at least a comparable signal of AC750 if not it will work but your reception will still be cutting in an out.

• I would say yes it could capture and extend the wireless name and signal. It would not make anything any faster. Remember, you are at the mercy of the jetpack and your dataplan. You will more than likely eat up your data at a much faster rate. It's worth a shot.
