• Yes - BUT, 2 issues 1) camera must be close enough to base for good wireless and video quality. 2) motion detection is too slow, by the time it starts recording, vehicle has already passed, so no plate is captured.

• no its not that good it is very limited you cant zoom in and out

• Yes depending on where you mount it. I have one mounted on the inside post of the entrance to my property and I can read and record the license plate numbers/info..
