How far away does the camera detect motion null

It varies with the sensitivity you set and whether the motion is directly towards the camera or across the field of view. Across works better than direct. Mine work well up to about 30 feet or so at 90% sensitivity. It's possible you can push that a bit further with acceptable results.

A car or deer will easily be detected at 50 feet or more. Its amazing some of the things you see that you didn't realize that goes on around your house! Deer, racoons humming birds etc. great camera!

I would say that its anywhere between 15 and 20 feet. The confusing part is when you setup the cameras you can see past 20 feet but the camera wont pickup the motion till the person comes within the 15 to 20 feet range. Also found out that if you are viewing live it will show the person past 20 feet. I have set the sensitivity to 100 percent but it still picks up motion within the 15 to 20 feet range only. Ya had to drill alot of holes.

it depends on the angle that you direct the camera. I have mine pointing down quite a bit and I still pick up motion over 30' away.

Seems to be about twenty feet for a person-sized object.

I have one of the cameras in the front of my garage and I can see who is walking thru the door as it opens.
