A:AnswerIts hard to see anyone face clearly, it's like taking a picture on your smart phone it looks clear but if u zoom its gets pixelated. I have mine about 10 ft from the door its obvious who it is when I know them but when I dont I can't see facial features like I would need to in order to really identify someone.
A:AnswerI like it better - I believe the user interface is easier to use and also allows for easier access to the cameras. It records as soon as it detects movement, as well, which i appreciate it. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the camera.

A:AnswerArlo has its own app so you access the videos there or on their website my.Arlo.com. It's not a broadcast camera, it only records when there's motion. When there's no motion you can do live view if you're on the app. I don't think you can keep the app running on your phone 24/7. Just access the camera when you need to by opening the app.
A:AnswerI have two systems the new Pro has audio and a rechargeable batteries. this 4 pack is the older camera with the standard CR 123 I think that is the number of the batteries.
newer pro is the one with the sound and rechargeable battery
I like these camera's better than the new one only because the CR 123 last longer and when they go bad you dont have to recharge them just put new ones in.
The charger in the pro camers's they have looks like a stanard USB but its not, its higher voltage and you have to use their charger to charge the pro cameras. They are also touchy, and Im not sure how long the plug is going to last in them. My older arlo has been working for three years the new one I think just a year.
My camera are always on and last at least three months the new pros last shorter time, but it may be because more people go in front of my house where the pro camera are
Im not sure of the voice activation I dont think so. I belive it is just motion, these cameras (4 pack) do not have sound Solar? no unless your a hobbiest and want to custom mod your camera

A:AnswerThe recommendation is for 1MB upload speed. I think this is in case all 4 uploading at the same time. I have 750k upload and it works fine without any issues

I prefer the Arlo Pro and Arlo Pro 2 since they come with a super solid battery pack in the box.
