• not included - you need your own, but if you want to purchase this item, buy stock in a battery company...it has cost me way too much to keep purchasing these special batteries...they just do not last long at all...I wish I could return it

• Yes, a router is still needed and is NOT included in the cost. Due to the amount of wifi traffic that this may cause, they recommended a higher end router (Cost approximately $200) be used so other apps are not hindered.
