The beauty of this system is that it includes it's own routing station. You plug this base station into your router at home (hard wire only) and the cameras all interface with this base station, which has really good range.

In theory, no need to buy a package with a base station. Just buy a camera add-on package. Unfortunately, my router is not one of those...

Please try again later.I would reccommend getting a booster for any router and making sure you have a high quality internet service because thes cameras need a lot of data to relay. it will slow down your system if just normal service. we bought a booster to boost the power and still turn off to view movies and turn back on once the movie has downloaded.
