What encryption is on NETGEAR N600 Router null

It's best encryption is it's password so I suggest changing the default password after you set it up. If you want layered security I would set up a VPN on your laptop/phone. Don't forget to set your firewall rules as well. If you want even more security beyond antivirus software you can set up an IDS/IPS (intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system). However, that's a bit of overkill for a residential router.
