The set up is super easy. Logging into the router to customize access, etc. was also very easy. It works way better than the Xfinity routers they lease to customers, but I only use Xfinity for internet and tv, and they are on separate cable lines. I do have a magicjack for landline backup, which is also VoIP, so I imagine it should be fine with Xfinity voice, but don't know for sure on that one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a moden/router combination. It's main job is to provide wireless internet in your house. It will not support a phone. You don't need a modem/router for TV, unless you subscribe to some streaming content like Netflix. It will work for that. Hook up is easy. Just plug in your cable from Comcast and plus the router/modem into the wall. You do have to sync it to your home network which is relatively easy. If you have problems, there is tech support number for Netgear and they are very helpful walking you through the set up procedure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use this for Comcast tv and internet, but not phone. There is no phone cord hook up. It is extremely easy to set up and get running though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure. I have Comcast internet only. Help from Comcast made set-up fairly easy. Call them and ask. I asked about this router before installation to check compatibility.
