“My signal is being throttled at night. Watching youtube on my tv (which is only a foot or so away from my wifi device) is virtually impossible as it takes a lot of time to load a video. Will a wifi extender solve this problem?”

Yes it will extend your WiFi signal but it won’t increase your speed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t that is an extender issue. Your extender will not give you faster download speeds - it only amplifies the signal it receive from the router and so that signal reaches places in the home where there is no WiFi signal.
