Yes it will. Many times when there's a problem with the built-in Wi-Fi adapter I uninstall the driver in device manager, restart the computer and usually that will reset the driver.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably. First, this technology is likely newer than what you have in your laptop. Second, it sticks outside the case and you can use the USB cable to position it even farther away so that the laptop itself doesn't interfere with the signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not necessarily. Your laptop's WiFi radio has an integrated antenna; it may have been damaged somehow (drops, jarring, high temperatures). It could also be your WiFi router (check antennas; moved? Something blocking?). If nothing changed (additional devices? New mobile phones?), suggest you have a tech look at the laptop first before investing in a new adaptor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used this with a gateway brand laptop specifically to address the issue of poor/weak signal in the part of the house I usually work in. It works better than the built in wifi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will improve the signal.
