• Not about your internet provider.It allows a wifi connection so you dont have to connect ethernet connection to your device from your router acroos the room or another part of your home.

• The internet provider not the brand of router matter. Plug in and it has the software on it to install on any Windows based pc. Have used it on 3 different laptops just plug in and wait a minute does everything it's self like installing a new mouse

• It shouldn't matter. What will matter are the minimum system requirements of the computer. I would read those to make sure your computer meets these requirements. As long as they do, then you should have no problems.
