“I have Xfinity internet service 600mbps/25mbps. Currently using a Moto MG7550 modem, 3.0 DOCSIS. Told to get the best speed (up to 600mbps) I need to upgrade to a 3.1 DOCSIS modem. Is this correct? Will this modem work with my Ooma telco VOIP phones?”

Ask your cable companies but I am rather sure it won't.
