I have Xfinity WiFi modem. I've used extenders to get WiFi to my detached garage ManCave, but there is always issues with speed. Can i use this along with my Xfinity modem in the other part of the house, instead of an extender (1 for house, 1 in garage) null

We turned our Xfinity modern in and just use this one. The range is awesome. 
Even outside the house.

I used to use extenders with my old AT&T Uverse internet modem and now that I have Xfinity (Comcast) and my new Netgear Nighthawk cable modem I don't have to use them for my wifi to reach my Smart TV and such. Working very well.
