“I am switching to Medicom Xtreme. They furnish a modem, but should I be buying one of these combination modem/routers? I have 5600 square foot 3 story (including basement), 16 devices and stream Netflix, & 2 extenders. Is this the answer or another?”

It would probably same you money! They will most likely charge you a monthly fee. Within a year, purchasing one will pay for itself. I recommend checking your isp website to see if you can bring your own modem/router and for requirements. Good luck!
