• Velop provides both 2.4 and 5gHz. So yes. My advice on setting it up is to configure the Velop to differentiate the SSIDs between those two frequency bands. (e.g. "MyHouse" and "MyHouse") Doing that will make it easier to be certain that your security system is going to be connecting only to the 2.4 band that the Velop provides. • By default when you set it up it sets up both a 5ghz and 2.4ghz SSID. You can choose to combine them, but I would think you'd want to keep them separated. I don't see why it wouldn't work.
