I"m not sure. I bought mine because of the number of WIFI units ( computer, cell phones, WIFI supported TV, etc. ) I needed WIFI support for. So far mine works excellently in support of my WIFI supportable units. It's the strength of the WIFI signal from the router that's most important when considering your needs.
