“I was told by a home automation vendor to find the best Netgear router that has the ability to turn off the wifi and use EERO Pro 6 for the wifi, since I have a large multistory home. Is this compatible? This is for a Spectrum fiber 'net connection.”

Yes, this is fully customizable and as for your ISP, you’ll need to keep the fiber translator (modem) as this will not take direct fiber connections of course. But all should work.
