“Someone from netgear said the range is about 2500 square feet. Which means you can only be about 28 feet away (28 foot radius). This seems way wrong, and was hoping someone can give a more accurate answer to the actual range.”

I have it and I use it from about 40+ feet away and only lose about 200 mbps down. Through multiple rooms. Great router. Highly recommend using the 5GHz networks for faster speeds.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say the horizontal rage would be close to 1300 feet. I can get my wifi signal across the 2.4 acre pond I live on. Of course thats the 2.4 range. Unit is installed on the ground floor of a 2 story 2400 sqft home. Zero issues.
