• Yes, technically the router can support 2.5Gbps if you have an ISP that provides it, which is 2.5 times faster than 1Gbps. The speed to your actual devices will vary depending on the the capabilities of those devices but the router can easily handle your 1Gbps.

• If you signed up for the 1gb plan From your internet provider , that is the maximum , and you will never see that ... I took a snapshot of my speed attached below ...

• I have seen speeds between 380 - 620 depending on my location in the house. Very happy with the product. I did return it only to upgrade to the MK63 that comes with 3 units instead of two. it was only a few dollars more.
