Hi Lashdown, This would depend on your current set up. If you are using the default wi-fi that is packaged with your internet service than this will almost certainly be better range. But if you're low bar from getting too far and you're already using a similar device to this you may want to look at a "Mesh" wi-fi system that is several wifi devices that work together like buisnesses have but smaller. Examples of those are Eero, Orbi, Linksys Velop, and google wifi.
