Actually it's 3 bands. 1 band at 2.4G and 2 separate bands at 5G. I think you're getting confused with the number of "antennas" it has inside the fins to broadcast and receive the signals. Or BB screwed up the description. Anyhooo - it's 3 individual bands that you can set up and individually name and give individual passwords to. Hope that helps.
