What is the expected range null

I'm in a very large home with the router in the center of the house. I am on 1/2 acre of property and have a cousin 2 houses over from me (over 300') and pick up her son's SSIDs on his network. I have never dropped internet with this router and I'm dealing with a lot of distance in and out of the home. In my backyard I'm still on wireless on my phone. It's positively FANTASTIC!!
