Technically yes, but that's not the ideal way to solve this issue. Go into your Spectrum settings (probably 192.168.1.1) and ensure 2.4 and 5ghz are both on. Name them with different SSIDs if your devices are having trouble selecting the correct radio signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can set the 2.4ghz on its own network, and the 5ghz on its own seperate ssid if needed. Keep in mind this modem broadcasts the 5ghz + 2ghz signal at the same time to provide better boosted speeds. The router will be able to detect the printer only supports 2.4ghz and send the 2.4ghz broadcast to it.
