No, this will not work with your personal hot spot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My router, which is provided by my ISP, is in a room over the garage so there are walls and flooring between it and the Nighthawk extender. I have had no connection issues so far. The setup process was easy and it has worked flawlessly since I added it a couple of months ago.
