If the building has electricity, the optimal thing to do is to try an extender in the building to see if it can pick up the router's signal. If it does, then you're in business. The extenders work by picking up the signal and then boosting it from that point, so if the router signal is strong, an extender could work in the building. 300 feet is quite a distance, however.
