Let me answer my own question. Yes, this works with Spectrum, just got it connected with the 400 MB download plan and is doing 422. Waiting for the upgrade to 1 Gig to be processed in order to get more speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used it with Charter Spectrum in southern Illinois with no issues (other than the extreme sounds it makes which I'm hoping the newer model rectified.)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The C7800 is a modem/router combination (contributing to its elevated cost), while the CM1000 is a dedicated modem allowing for connection to one computer UNLESS a router is connected inline with the computer. Contact Spectrum whether it would allow the registration of the C7800 (many ISPs will not allow non-recommended modems on their networks). As of 10/22/2018 (I stated 10/18/2018 in an earlier response to another question), the C7800 was not on any of Spectrum's recommended lists.

If it isn't compatible you can get a refund from Best Buy with in 14 days. If it is compatible you Will love it. The WiFi reaches very far and you will like that especially if you have a rental model.
