“Does this need a separate modem ? Is it capable with Comcast Xfinity”

• This is a WiFi Router (very fast and has great range) and requires a separate modem that interfaces the cable company, ie Spectrum, Comcast. I don't use Comcast but if they are anything like Spectrum, this should connect and work on their system.

• Yes it does need its separate modem and it does work with xfinity! The router is AWESOME! No more dropped conference calls ..

• yes you need a separate modem. sort of disappointing that this is not a modem also. fast wifi though

• The one I bought NightHawk X6S AC4000 is a Router Only. You can buy a combo. I use it with Xfinity. I stream 4K

• Does not need a separate modem. I have Spectrum and it works great! Internet speeds are excellent! I have over 12 devices connected to it with no problems.
