The AX4200 is primarily sold as a 2-pack (one router and one satellite) and as a 3-pack (one router and two satellites). However you can buy additional satellites separately.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Get another Orbi satellite, instead of an extender. Sadly, I tried the "save some bucks" approach with a Netgear extender, and although it connected just fine, the speed wasn't as good. (My new extender was 2-band, but the Orbi 4200 is tri-band, so the extended actually slowed down the system!) I returned the extender. The pair of devices worked very well for my wife & I in our house, but I ended up deciding I needed a second satellite (and couldn't buy just a single satellite to add to my router + satellite pair I'd gotten from BestBuy, so I opted to buy it elsewhere). Loving the speed from my three-unit mesh, though -- downloads usually around 400-450 mps for cable-based 400 mps service!!)
