• There are two active bands in the 5GHz range. One is dedicated to the backhaul. This leaves 3 bands for use by your Wi-fi devices.

• It has a 5Ghz band dedicated only to communications between the router and satellites. This wireless backhaul is not used for any other devices and allows the satellites to offer nearly as strong a signal as the router.

• I might be wrong but I believe they are including the dedicated band the router uses to connect to the satellites.
