You first have to receive an internet signal from your internet provider which connects to your modem. The modem sends the signal to your router via an Ethernet cable. A:AnswerI also had difficulty setting it up but called Spectrum. After multiple attempts to remove the old one/add the new one, it worked. Seems the problem I'd been having was on their end....
