I also had difficulty setting it up but called Spectrum. After multiple attempts to remove the old one/add the new one, it worked. Seems the problem I'd been having was on their end....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You may be having the same problems I had with my Verizon Fios Quantum Gateway Router. When connected to your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as a secondary router it appears the Wi-Fi signals are competing and the Orbi cannot provide the Wi-Fi signal it's capable of. The way I was able to overcome this was to shut down the Wi-Fi signal from the ISP router and turn over the full Wi-Fi signal broadcast to the Orbi. Through your computer you must access your ISP router and switch off the Wi-Fi signal. Then I had to access the Orbi main router/hub and change it's setting to recognize it as a single access point. Once I was able to do this it fixed all the problems and the Orbi began to broadcast a strong Wi-Fi signal that all my devices were able to access. Hope this works! Good luck!
