The Orbi system supports both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Instructions for setting up the Guest Network can be found here: http://kb.netgear.com/31579/How%20do%20I%20set%20up%20a%20guest%20WiFi%20network%20on%20my%20Orbi%20system??cid=wmt_netgear_organic
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This eliminates the need for separate 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks. It uses one SSID for both network bands and will connect you to whichever will give you the best connection. It does have a "Guest Wireless" feature, so you can still keep your guest network. The benefit of this is that you can utilize both bands for both networks. You will want to disable your Charter Internet wifi feature once you've set it up on the Orbi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can set up guest access, although the days of having two different channels based on frequency are gone, it seems to send out only one signal and place each device on fastest one based on needs, truly a smart router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has it's own guest network (on the 2.4G band). I assume your 2 connections are from your ISP. I've been pleased with speed tests and easieness of the app. If you get this, I would recommend shutting down the ISP wifi so they don't "fight".
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels seem to be seamlessly bound together. They do both broadcast, however, under the same SSID. For your guests you can set up a second guest network via the settings web page, and again, those two channels would use their own SSID.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
