Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The first issue that I see with your setup is your router location. All routers transmit their signals downward, versus your typical radio waves which transmit upwards. What this means is, that if you don't choose a router that you are able to create a mesh, you are not going to get the best signal above your basement. Now with that said, the Netgear Orbi will give you a better chance at overcoming this issue due to it's mesh networking. You can place the satellite system on the upper floor, and that will most likely remedy your issue.
