It may depend on the overall distance to the building..... but in our case, my wife can connect anywhere in our yard more than 50 feet away from the router and one of our cars connects over Wi-Fi automatically in the driveway for system updates. Just make sure that you give your network a name and password protect it!

I ended up going with Ring Drop Cams and have 2 Orbi Satellites up on both floors of my home. All my cameras are withing 30 feet of a satellite. No buffering and minimal video delays.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Arlo cameras need to be placed within a maximum of 300 ft. from their base unit (NOTE: Obstacles such as walls, bodies of water, etc, will decrease this distance). The Orbi system cannot increase this distance.
