It might not, because a power strip might try to remove the "noise" that the adapter will generate in order to transmit the network signal.

Please try again later.For best performance plug the device directly into the closest wall socket to where your router is installed and then plug your router into the Powerline Adapter. If you are short on outlet space (or aren't working with the 2000+ version) it will work with the power strip but not optimally.
