“If one end of the power line adapter is plugged into the router, is there a device at the other end that will convert the ethernet signal back to Wi-fi? I am trying to use this on a wireless security camera.”

• You will have to use a wifi extender and plug into the adapter.

• This device will not convert back to wifi. You would need something like the "NETGEAR - Powerline AC1000 Wi-Fi Access Point and Adapter" or you will need to add an additional wifi router/bridge.
