It does not send a wireless signal. It is designed for Ethernet cabling.

Please try again later.you could use a set of these to allow internet upstairs via the electrical sockets but use a wifi router connected to the upstairs box so as to spread wifi around upstairs, or you could do what i did and just buy 2 sets and have 1 in each room...much easier

This wired connection to the router will make sure you get better download/upload speeds for devices connected to that extended router.

Please try again later.no it wont help wireless signals, if you have a power socket near your camera you can then either get another eifi box and use that for your camera to connect to or if close enough and a connection is in your camera, you could just connect it direct to the plug. it doesnt have a power socket pass through though which would have been very helpful if you only got 1 power socket and not a double socket.
