no this is not normal. the must be an issue with the cable or most probably your elecrical wiring is crap
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not normal - I ran speed tests with my laptop being connected to the powerline and was getting the same speeds as I would when connected directly to the router. You might not have a great connection, there are 3 lights on the powerline and you need to make sure all 3 lights are green on both connections, if not, you can try to use different outlets to see if you can get a stronger connection, it really depends on the wiring in your house, too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i'm not sure if it's normal, but this was my experience, as well. i just splurged for a google wifi 3-pack. it cost $270, but gives very fast wifi, and wired access at each unit. i've found that these little units provide much better coverage, and much faster wifi than the commodity wifi router i bought.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be depending on your house's electrical wiring. For best results, try plugging in both adapters directly into wall outlets, not using extension cords or power strips. Even still, the speed is entirely dependent on the electrical wiring itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.these are really designed for hard to reach locations and may not improve local connection speeds. That said, it should't slow Internet speed since the throughput is much greater than most broadband connections ....if you're getting anything close to gigabit speed on your local connection (1000 Mbps). Home Internet speeds are typically 25Mbps-300Mbps (so slower than your local network connection). doesn't help much, but there may be another source of the bottleneck
