All access points have an RJ-45 connector for hardwiring. You may be mistaking an access point for a WiFi range extender, which use the radio signal to connect to the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ethernet will tolerate up to 1000', but will degrade performance. As such, if you hope to have a Gigabyte connection you need a minimum of a cat 5e line, and for a nominal cost increase I personally would use cat 6 cable and connectors.
