I use this router with the TP-Link - BE11000 Wi-Fi 7 Range Extender RE655BE and it works great. Most extenders are designed to be plugged in and configured to use an existing wireless bands to connect to your router. But I chose the TP-Link because it has a 2.5Gbps LAN port so I connect over cat6 to one of theBE9300's 2.5Gbps LAN ports and maximize the speed. That preserves full throughput on all bands 2.4, 5, and 6MHz (for your iphone 16 users) for your wireless network since it doesn't have to share one in order to connect to the router. You put the extender in Access Point mode so that wireless users can move around without having to switch from SSID to SSID. But you don't have to. You can simply plug it in and set it up to communicate with the router over one of the wireless bands.
