Yes, but you cannot play two players on one Switch Lite. The 2nd player needs to have the game and a Switch or Switch Lite and play via wireless connection (multiplayer). Any game that can be played in handheld mode on the Switch will work on the Switch Lite.

I gather you like to carry the Switch and use it like the older Gameboy player. The biggest difference between the Switch-Lite and the Switch is whether you use controllers to play the game. (It depends on the gamer). You do have the option to wirelessly pair the Joy-Con Controllers, especially when playing with another player, which this game can be played, both single-player or multiple players. By pairing the Joy-Con controllers you can play this game on the Switich-Lite. Without the Joy-Con Controllers, no you can't play this game.
