“Where you pour in the water it says "pull" on a tab. Pulling on this does nothing. I'm looking for a way to do full system cleaning, more than just through the back plug. We have German cockroach issues and they hide inside the icemaker.”

Hi, Thank you for contacting NewAir! I am sorry to inform you this unit does not have a self cleaning fuction. You can clean the unit with running a cycle of lemon juice and water. After that cycle run a cycle with just clean water to help rinse the unit out. To clean the exhause fan, blow out with compress air. Best Regards, Custmer Care
