QuestionI am confused about the 3 minute loops. Does it start recording over after 3 minutes and clear the last 3 minute recording or does it save each 3 minute recording until it is deleted or the card fills up?

- Answer It will keep recording 3 minute clips until the memory card is full, and then it will delete the oldest recording to continue, etcetera.

- Answer It does pretty good at night. Check YouTube. 3 minute record loop. I have a 64gb microSD card in mine and it's been fine for several months.

- Answer Hello. This uses a standard 1 metre long USB cable for charging the Dash Cam indoors and to view footage. When in the vehicle we recommend using the 12/24V Power Supply. Thanks, Nextbase

QuestionDoes this also function as a security camera?

- Answer Not exactly sure how you're planning to use it for security. It does NOT have night vision. Unless your car has always on 12v, the battery in the cam would die quick. You could look at hardwiring it to the car battery so it records 24/7 but you'd have to be careful with that so you don't drain your car battery.
