It does not tilt sufficiently.  All you are going to be able to see is a few feet behind the car/truck, no matter where you mount it.

If they only made some sort of wedged-shape adhesive path, that would have done the trick.

The rear widow camera can be attached to a fully vertical window, as the magnetic mount is designed to be able to do this. We'd recommend putting the rear camera at the top of the rear window for the best view, rather than the bottom.
