No this is not a back up camera. The rear camera just records what is behind the vehicle. It does not have the functions of a true back up camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Skelly, The Rear Cam that comes with the 320XR goes on the rear window of the car. This then records the rear view (e.g. someone tailgating). The 320XR sits in the front of your car on the front windscreen and records the view through the front. Between the two you have both front and rear views that record directly onto the same SD card.
