The cameras can be up to 300 ft. from the Wi-Fi NVR with line of sight. If there are obstacles in between the cameras and Wi-Fi NVR, it would depend on what the obstacles are. Some more heavily affect the signal strength than do others. For instance, a concrete or brick wall will more severely impede the signal strength than will drywall or a window. So, unfortunately, the answer is it depends entirely on your setup and what type of material is between the cameras and Wi-Fi NVR how far out the cameras can be mounted.
